π₯πͺ Our Year 7 Mathematics students have begun working on Solids and Volume by exploring different arrangements they can create with four blocks π₯πͺπ¨π© and applying it to isometric drawings. ππ Our Diversity team recently ran a Year 7 Wellbeing lesson in the senior COLA. There were amazing games that included π€ This or That, π₯³ Birthday Challenge, π§ Celebrity Heads, π Scenario What Ifs. ππ On Monday 4th November some students from Year 12 along with Mr Paton and Mrs Dawood were invited to attend an event held by the La Salle Academy at ACU. The event included a panel discussion regarding a significant publication ππ that came out of ACUβs PM Glynn Institute, Shadow of the Cross, a book ππ focusing on the possibility that the principles of Catholic Social Teaching may well be the answer to achieving better policy making in Australia. βοΈβοΈ The Panel discussion featured The Hon. Susan Carter MLC, Ms Julia Finn MP and Dr Sandie Cornish, as well as an address given by Dallas McInerney, CEO of Catholic Schools NSW. The College would like to extend a special thanks to Professor Br David Hall who was the host for the evening. Br David is a former student and Principal of St Patrickβs Marist College and is currently the Dean of the La Salle Academy for Faith and Religious Education at Australian Catholic University.ππ #stpatricksmaristcollegedundas #cspd2024 #catholicschoolsparramattadiocese #dundas

ππWelcome to the Forum of Pompeii. Year 12 Ancient History students, under a guided tour by Mr. Sheteh, were taken on a tour of the Forum of Pompeii. They learnt about 10 of the main buildings within the Forum and their purpose within society as well as other features that linked to the importance of society at the time. ππ We are grateful to the members of our school community who volunteered their evening to take out the "Vinnies Van" to feed the less fortunate in the Greater Western Sydney Area. There will be more opportunities for all members of our community to volunteer in 2025 with more information to come. ππ
